BAGHDAD, July 24 (Xinhua) -- The United States civil administration in
Baghdad released Thursday the post-mortem photos of Saddam Hussein's two sons,
Uday and Qusay, who were killed in a six-hour gunbattle with US troops in Mosul
in northern Iraq on Tuesday.
The US move was a
imed at proving to sceptical Iraqis that the two brothers
had been killed.
One of the photos showed Uday with a thick beard and severely bruised face.
The military has said the brothers and a third man, believed to have been a
bodyguard, were killed by US missiles fired into the villa where they were
hiding out Tuesday. End
